This is an organic certified, fully washed Kivu 3 grade lot from smallholder farmers in the Isale region of North-Kivu, Democratic Republic of Congo. This coffee was produced by Virunga Coffee Company, in eastern DRC. This coffee comes from 3 small washing stations in the Isale area in North Kivu: Kahondo, Katanda, Mutendero.
We have been using this one in our Espresso Blend for some time now and we are excited to offer it as a single origin as well! It is truly one of kind and full of flavor, complexity, and intensity.
