DETAILS
This coffee represents Kenyan coffee through and through. My first experience with a coffee from Kenya reminded me of Campbell's tomato soup, one I used to enjoy as a child often. This coffee has that bright complexity of my first Kenyan coffee, but with significantly more sweetness.
Kiangundo Factory (the name for wet mills) receives cherry from nearly 700 producers who farm on the land surrounding the factory in Karatina, Nyeri County. Kiangundo Factory is one of 4 factories managed by Kiama Cooperative Farmers' Society. This co-op, founded in 2004, represents over 3,000 farmers in Nyeri.
