This premium coffee comes from the municipality of Timaná, located in the mountain valley of the Magdalena River, and was developed by Forest Coffee.
This new Red Condor was made in collaboration with Forest Coffee and 5 coffee growers, Duver Samboni, Mercedes Rojas, Reinel Perdomo, and Don Ovidio Ascencio, with whom they developed a 24-hour fermentation and patio drying (curing) using all batches to obtain a homogeneous cup and highlight sweetness. This coffee is one of a kind, and we are proud to offer this as our first Direct Trade relationship! We hope you enjoy.
I got this coffee as part of my monthly subscription & I was pleasantly surprised! I typically go for the fruitier flavor profiles. This coffee was more savory in a cozy and warm way -- and it was especially good with a splash of half and half! I definitely recommend giving this roast a try.
